Meet Kevin Blair Rushton

Kevin Blair Rushton was born in Iserlohn, Germany.  He returned to Canada with his family at the age of 2 where he spent the next 27 years in Kingston, Ontario, and several cities throughout Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. At the age of 27 he accepted the opportunity of a lifetime to work in Hong Kong.  He has been calling Hong Kong home since 1992.

Working in the sport, fitness and education industry, Kevin and his business partner developed several companies providing fitness distribution, training and education services in Hong Kong and later expanded into Southeast Asia. This created an opportunity to travel, explore cities and countries that have provided the ultimate backdrop to pursue his passion for photography.

Combining his love for food, travel, and newfound appreciation for photography (albeit amateur), Kevin has had many opportunities to explore and uncover many hidden treasures in Hong Kong and cities throughout Asia, Europe and North America.  His current blog series “Did you Know” shares his discoveries of Hong Kong’s local traditions and customs, food and cuisine, architecture, island life and fun facts about the Special Administrative Region.

With his newfound enthusiasm for photography, Kevin continues to roam the streets of Hong Kong discovering the many mystical qualities of the city that never sleeps. Hong Kong +852.

Only those who will risk going too far, can possibly find out how far one can go
